How Model A works

At Ampflow Energy you pay the net amount for a home battery or inverter. You do not pay the 21% VAT upfront: you transfer your right to the VAT refund to Ampflow Energy with a Deed of Assignment (Akte van Cessie).

Example

Net price of the product€4,000.00
21% VAT€840.00
Normally you pay€4,840.00
With Model A you pay€4,000.00
Example amounts. The price in the shop always applies.

What you sign

At checkout you read the text of the Deed of Assignment, enter your name and sign. You tick that you sign the deed and that you will pay the VAT yourself after all if the refund does not succeed. Without signing you cannot complete your order. You receive a copy with your order confirmation. The deed is in Dutch and is the binding text; an English explanation is shown with it.

After your order we ask you for a few details and an authorisation, so that we can arrange the VAT refund with the Dutch Tax Administration for you. Provide them within 7 days. If you receive money from the Tax Administration yourself for this purchase, transfer it to us within 5 working days.

Good to know

What if the Tax Administration does not refund the VAT (on time)?

Then you pay the VAT yourself after all. If the full VAT refund has not reached us within 6 months of delivery, for whatever reason, we ask you to pay the missing amount. If the refund still comes in after that, you get it back. The product is yours as soon as the VAT has also been received.

When does the product become mine?

As soon as the full purchase price has been paid, including the VAT part: via the refund or by you. Until then it remains the property of Ampflow Energy.

How do I pay?

Via iDEAL at checkout.

The full arrangement is in articles 1 and 2 of the terms and conditions.
